“data protection legislation” means all applicable legislation in force from time to time in the United Kingdom applicable to data protection and privacy including, but not limited to, the retained EU law version of the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (the “UK GDPR”), as it forms part of the law of England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland by virtue of section 3 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018; the Data Protection Act 2018 (and regulations made thereunder); Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 as amended
“personal data” means any and all data that relates to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified from that data. In this case, it means personal data that you give to Us via Our Site. This definition shall, where applicable, incorporate the definitions provided in the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK-GDPR”);

4.1.6 The right to data portability (obtaining a copy of your personal data to re-use with another service or organisation);
4.1.7 The right to object to Us using your personal data for particular purposes; and

Depending upon your use of Our Site, We may collect some or all of the following personal and non-personal data:
5.1 name;
5.2 business/company name;
5.3 job title;
5.4 profession;
5.5 contact information such as email addresses, postal address and telephone numbers;
5.6 demographic information such as post code, preferences, and interests; and
5.7 a list of URLs starting with a referring site, your activity on Our Site, and the site you exit to;
5.8 payment details such as bank name, account number and sort code. If you purchase a product from Our Site We use a third party payment processor. That third party will store your personal data anonymously, We do not store this data on any of Our systems; and
5.9 your social media account handles and names.
6.1 All personal data is processed and stored securely, for no longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. We will comply with Our obligations and safeguard your rights under the data protection legislation at all times. For more details on security see section 7, below.
6.2 Our use of your personal data will always have a lawful basis, either because it is necessary for Our performance of a contract with you, because you have consented to Our use of your personal data (e.g. by subscribing to emails), or because it is in Our legitimate interests. Specifically, We may use your data for the following purposes:
6.2.1 Supplying Our products and services to you (please note that We require your personal data in order to enter into a contract with you);
6.2.2 Personalising and tailoring Our products and services for you;
6.2.3 Replying to emails from you;
6.2.4 Supplying you with emails that you have opted into (you may unsubscribe or opt-out at any time by contacting us by phone or email confirming you would like to opt-out; and
6.2.5 If you choose to enter a competition, giveaway or promotion that we run (such as via Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or email), We may collect and use your name, contact details and social media handle solely for the purposes of administering the promotion, verifying eligibility, selecting winners, and distributing prizes. We do not automatically add competition entrants to our marketing list unless you have given separate consent to receive marketing communications. All promotions we run will have their own terms and conditions, and we will only retain data for as long as necessary to complete the promotion.
6.3 With your permission and/or where permitted by law, We may also use your data for marketing purposes which may include contacting you by email, telephone, text message or post with information, news, and offers on Our products and services. We will not, however, send you any unsolicited marketing or spam and will take all reasonable steps to ensure that We fully protect your rights and comply with Our obligations under the data protection legislation.
6.4 You have the right to withdraw your consent to Us using your personal data at any time, and to request that We delete it.
6.5 We do not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. Data will therefore be retained for the following periods (or its retention will be determined on the following bases):
- We will retain your contact details for as long as We contract with you and for 24 months thereafter, with the exception of financial information as detailed below;
- We will retain your contact details for 24 months if you have enquired about our services but not contracted with Us. Thereafter, they will be deleted;
- If you sign up to Our mailing list, We will retain your personal data for as long as you consent to receive emails from Us. You can unsubscribe at any time and We will remove you from Our mailing list and thereafter We will delete your details within 2 months; and
- We will retain your financial information for as long as We contract with you and, thereafter, for the permitted period of time required by law which is currently 6 years.
- We will retain data collected in connection with competitions only for as long as necessary to fulfil the promotion and comply with our legal obligations, after which it will be deleted.
7.1 We only keep your personal data for as long as We need to in order to use it as described above in section 6, and as long as We have your permission to keep it.
7.2 Some of your data will be stored:
7.2.1 In the UK. This means that it will be fully protected under the UK’s Data Protection Legislation;
7.2.2 Within the European Economic Area (the “EEA”). The EEA consists of all EU member states, plus Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein. This means that your personal data will be fully protected under the EU GDPR and/or to equivalent standards by law. Transfers of personal data to the EEA from the UK are permitted without additional safeguards.
7.2.3 In countries outside of the UK. These are known as “third countries”. When We do, We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data. These safeguards include ensuring that the level of protection in the destination country is not materially lower than that required under the Data Protection Legislation.
7.3 Data security is very important to Us, and to protect your data We have taken suitable measures to safeguard and secure data collected through Our Site.

7.4.9 Quickbooks.
7.4 Steps We take to secure and protect your data include:
7.4.1 All our computers are password protected
7.4.2 We do not write down any of our passwords
7.4.3 We have adequate security for any building where our computers are stored
7.4.4 We use up to date anti-virus software on all our computers
7.4.5 Our website has an up to date SSL certificate
8.1 We may sometimes contract with third parties to supply products and services to you on Our behalf. These may include payment processing, administrative support, professional services and advice, search engine facilities, advertising, and marketing. In some cases, the third parties may require access to some or all of your data. Where any of your data is required for such a purpose, We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data will be handled safely, securely, and in accordance with your rights, Our obligations, and the obligations of the third party under the law.
8.2 We may compile statistics about the use of Our Site including data on traffic, usage patterns, user numbers, sales, and other information. All such data will be anonymised and will not include any personally identifying data, or any anonymised data that can be combined with other data and used to identify you. We may from time to time share such data with third parties such as prospective investors, affiliates, partners, and advertisers. Data will only be shared and used within the bounds of the law.
8.3 In certain circumstances, We may be legally required to share certain data held by Us, which may include your personal data, for example, where We are involved in legal proceedings, where We are complying with legal requirements, a court order, or a governmental authority.
9.1 We may, from time to time, expand or reduce Our business and this may involve the sale and/or the transfer of control of all or part of Our business. Any personal data that you have provided will, where it is relevant to any part of Our business that is being transferred, be transferred along with that part and the new owner or newly controlling party will, under the terms of this Privacy Policy, be permitted to use that data only for the same purposes for which it was originally collected by Us.
9.2 In the event that any of your data is to be transferred in such a manner, you will not be contacted in advance and informed of the changes.

Under the Data Protection Legislation, no fee is payable, We are required to reply to you within one month, and we will provide any and all information in response to your request free of charge, provided the request is reasonable.
