Simple Interest Calculator by K&K Legal Consulting
We know that dealing with overdue invoices can be time consuming for businesses. It is for this reason we have created a simple interest calculator to help you calculate that all important interest.
This simple interest calculator allows you to calculate, by adding the initial amount, the number of days the invoice is overdue along with the percentage interest to be charged. Thereby giving you the new total due.
Remember when calculating days start from the day after the invoice was due and include today’s date.
If you do not currently have an action plan for dealing with overdue invoices here’s your reminder to put one into place. If you need any help with this we have also put together a useful guide “A Guide to Unpaid or Overdue Invoices and Recovery”. This will arm you with the right information to help you maximise recovery of those all important invoices. It provides a process for dealing with overdue invoices, how to issue a court claim, recovery orders and the power of a Statutory Demand.
Although we are lawyers we do not recommend that you go straight down the legal route, as this is where our guide comes in handy. Lots of invoices can be settled simply by having a conversation. This can start with a series of reminder emails, like our overdue invoice templates, and then escalated should the need arise.
