As the end of 2022 approaches, we wanted to reflect and do a round up of our business and thank everyone we have worked with this year. First, we have to admit that when we started K&K, (although we aimed for nothing but success and the business has been on an upward trajectory ever since), we never dreamt we would win awards and set an example for female entrepreneurs in the UK.
To all of you who are catching up now, this is a round up of our business for 2022.
At the beginning

2022 was the year when we finished our Business Startup Mastery Guide. This guide is essential for everyone looking to start a business in the new year and hasn’t got a clue where to begin with. Here you will find everything you need to start on the right foot, including:

Our shop
Subsequently, we added the shop to our website and created downloadable content for all the template contracts, guides, policies, and documents. Some of the templates and policies we currently have on there are:
- First aid policy (A First Aid Policy is an essential requirement for any business. It helps staff identify and control risks in relation to The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981).
- Fire safety policy

It’s worth pointing out that whilst we don’t feel templates work for every business they can be a good starting point for a startup that is budget conscious. However, our templates are different to many others because they come with a 15-minute consultation with us, to ensure that you understand the template and can ask questions. Our goal is to make sure you have a contract that works for you and that you understand.
Professional Photos
Professional photos on our website were long overdue. Whilst this didn’t go according to plan because Kate caught Covid the week of the photo shoot in Spain, we still arranged separate photo shoots. However, we still have plans to get another photo shoot arranged in 2023 with both of this time so watch this space!
Final thoughts
Finally, we are beyond grateful that all our hard work eventually paid off, not only by helping small businesses and start-ups achieve their goals but by being recognised and winning the Judges Choice at the Female Business Network awards. We are very proud to be award-winning lawyers and hope to keep up with the pace in 2023.
