Have you been struggling to keep true to your goals, make changes in your life and business, but it seems like whatever you do, you just end up going back to the beginning? Let’s say you are motivated to do whatever it takes to make some changes. But if you rely solely on motivation, it is not enough. Why? Motivation comes from the conscious mind, and it is often short-lived. So long before you know it, you resort to your old ways because guess what? That is how our subconscious brain works.
But what if you can rewire your brain for success? What if you can delete the limiting beliefs from your brain that are holding you back forever? All you have to do is believe that the power of your subconscious mind is real, and it can get you wherever you want to go.
If you have been growing up with stories that told you success is bad, or money is dangerous, and even that rich people steal or are greedy, believe it or not, your subconscious mind is programmed to believe that. Then, these limiting beliefs create a subconscious block that is getting in your way of living the life you want or succeeding in your career and business.
Stay tuned if you want to find out how to remove these subconscious blocks, rewire your brain for success and watch your business flourish.
Subconscious blocks
But first, what are subconscious blocks? Everyone has subconscious blocks. They are limiting beliefs holding you back because they work as a protective barrier from something they see as a threat.
So if you always thought money is bad and dangerous, and rich people are greedy, although your conscious mind will work to rationalise that, your subconscious mind will work in the background, imprinting that belief in your core.
And so, you end up in a vicious circle of sabotaging patterns and self-doubt, creating a subconscious block for your business to grow. But luckily for you, you can get rid of these blocks and rewire your brain through subconscious mind training.
Imposter syndrome
Another block that gets in the way where you want to be is the Imposter Phenomenon or Imposter syndrome. This phenomenon is best explained as an “internal feeling you get of overwhelming self-doubt”. Of course, self-doubt in some situations is perfectly normal, especially when you are starting something new.
This Imposter Phenonomen is a feeling that you are not capable and that everything you have achieved is due to luck despite your success being down to your knowledge and qualifications.
Women especially are often riddled with self-doubt when they launch and grow their business. But Imposter Phenomenon doesn’t spare anyone. Everyone is affected, including men, CEOs, self-employed, no matter the social status or education.
How to rewire your subconscious mind?
Before starting to train your subconscious mind, you need to define what you really want. If these blocks were not there, what would you see?
First and foremost, you need to get rid of these self-destructive habits, fears and beliefs:
“I will do it tomorrow”
Is a tactic of procrastination in your subconscious mind that prevents you from performing important tasks. Start with small tasks first and work on completing the task today. Not tomorrow, and not the following Monday.
Worrying thoughts
These thoughts are often unrealistic fear. Fear of the unknown , fear about the uncertainties of the future. Try eliminating this irrational fear by asking yourself if that thought is based on real facts?
Need for someone else’s approval
The habit of seeking approval from others needs to disappear. This behaviour only threatens self-confidence and integrity.
Limited beliefs
Most of our boundaries are imposed by ourselves. Find ways how to recognise and dismiss those beliefs that limit your ability to act and let abundance flow.
The idea that you are the result of your past
We often make the mistake of believing that we are the result of our past experiences. This limits the view of the future because we remain convinced that the future can be the same as the past. While some things cannot be changed, there are many that are still in your hands.
Self-criticism
While self-criticism can sometimes be constructive, we often cross the line. Then criticism becomes discouraging. Release these thoughts and start being more gentle with yourself.
Finally, visualise and write everything down. What you feel, what you think you can do and get clear on what your new aim is. Imagine your ideal world and how you see your business in the future. Visualise it, want it and work towards achieving your new goal. Don’t let beliefs like “rich people are lucky because they were born with silver spoons in their mouths” block you from your own success because you, and only you, can make your life anything you want it to be.
